About Us

Founded in 1996, Brand New Theatre is the University of Southern California's only student run theatre company that is exclusively dedicated to producing student written work.  

Each semester, student playwrights submit their work that is reviewed by our all-student producing committee.  After a rigorous and selective process, four one-acts are selected and are assembled into a singular show that is directed and managed independently by students. In
 
2012, BNT began producing full-length productions. The first of which, Here's the Thing, was selected to be a part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. 
 
We are also proud to announce that our full-length from 2012, GET. THAT. SNITCH. by Achilles Capone, made its professional debut in the fall of 2015 at the Atwater Village Theater in Los Angeles. BNT alums Kate Harrow (producer) and Christina Bryan (stage manager) were joined by our very own Savannah Harrow (associate producer) to create a magical experience.
